Firefighting

With more than 33 million flight hours worldwide, The H125 (AS350)  is a member of Airbus’ Ecureuil family and outclasses all other single-engine helicopters for performance

Its versatile, low maintenance, and carries a low acquisition costs, while excelling in high and hot and extreme environments which is critical for Helicopters and especially whilst fighting fires.

The H125 can carry 1 or 2 Pilots and up to 5 Helitack crew members, it’s quick configuration change enables multi-function applications in one mission or task.

MCC Aviation can fly Helitack teams of up to 5 out to fire and when equipped with a skid basket fire bucket. The team equipment can be flown at the same time to and from fire and the fire bucket can be deployed without shutting down to get air support/water on the fire ASAP, Again, vital in fighting fires.

What makes the The H125 an impressive firefighting Helicopter is the tail rotor authority and power to weight performance, allowing for operations in winds up to 40 knots and gusty conditions as well as mountain flying and bad terrain, where fire’s normally are and where access is typically impossible. The H125 has a much higher and safer envelope than it’s nearest competitors, notwithstanding it’s aerial work capabilities with increased performance and visibility, facilitating pilot workload during external load operations.

The H125 offers pilots enhanced safety and reduced workload thanks to the Vehicle & Engine Multifunction Display ® (VEMD), developed for Airbus. The VEMD allows pilots to check the main vehicle and engine parameters with just a glance.

Offering hundreds of STCs, the H125’s elegant cabin has a flat floor that can be quickly and easily reconfigured for various missions, including aerial work, firefighting, law enforcement, rescue and passenger transport.

Simply put, the H125 is SAFE, RELIABLE and VERSATILE
